Handmade Monday - All Stitched Up

Or not?!  There are so many things I wanted to have done by today.  I got a little side tracked with my unfinished projects.

And, if I'm to be honest, a little overwhelmed by just how many pieces I have that are unfinished.  I have tried to put a more positive vent on it and look at me having 'started' so many creations, already having gone through the idea and how to process.  Sometimes I think that's my favourite part and so I go off and do it with something else.  And so no handmade piece to show today at Handmade Monday.

I tend to look upon this time of year as my New Year.  I guess I've always been a student at heart - so one of my resolutions is to finish what I've started.  I am going to be so busy.

I have so much to do in prep for CRAFTfest so I'm off to get crafting.

A Happy Creative Week to All.

    1. I think I've already let myself off the hook on that one by congratulating myself on all my great starts. Looking forward to the buzz of the finishes. Cx

  3. I am very much a starter too. I sometimes need some sort of motivator to make me finish - a customer, a magazine deadline, a birthday, etc. I love the excitement of a new idea - but I need to remind myself that the excitement of a finished piece does actually match the excitement of the idea. Good luck with that basket! x

    1. The biggie is to resist the temptation of starting anything else. I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks Cx

  4. I know how you feel about half finished projects. Actually, sometimes i think i could at least get half way - less time thinking about it and more time doing it!

  5. I go through phases where I finish off loads of things and get a bit of satisfaction from this and other times I just cannot be bothered. The lure of the next big thing is too much! I am sure your things will get finished in their own good time.

    1. Thanks, I'm sure some of them will never be done but that's ok because the best ones will be finished. Some of them will probably take on a whole new persona. Cx

  7. LOL UnFinished Objects! yes, I live like that. I tend to get all into something and then go onto something else. Glad you are able to sit still and finish things tho. Good luck! We are prepping for a possible hurricane, so not sure I will be here next Monday.
